What do you think about tracing?
I thought Jace traced at one stage and started to play around with tracing to see what kinds of results it could get.
Here are my steps:
Line art
Run photo through gradient map
Lasso tool section (like eye, or mouth), past onto drawing, use liquify to get it to match.
I got bored with it but I'm sure Jace like results could be obtained (Jace probably doesn't trace). Post what you learnt here if you did so. Encourage you to do so anonymously because some people might call you a tracer just because of this experiment, and some clients, patrons might not respect that.
